VMware ESXi

This document details the OmniVista Terra installation procedure on VMware ESXi. OmniVista Terra can be installed as a fresh installation from a downloaded file available on the Customer Support website. OmniVista Terra is distributed as a Virtual Appliance only. There are no other standalone installers (e.g., Windows/Linux). It is installed as a Virtual Appliance, and can be deployed on the system and hypervisors defined in the Prerequisites section.

Deployment and Installation Overview

Below is an overview of the steps required to deploy and configure OmniVista Terra.

1. Deploy OmniVista Terra on VMware ESXi virtual machine.

2. Configure OmniVista Terra using the OmniVista Admin Center.

3. Configure Windows DNS settings.

4. Obtain and import licenses using the Subscription Manager.

5. Begin onboarding devices.
