Introducing OmniVista® Terra
OmniVista Terra is an on-premise Network Management System that simplifies the monitoring and managing of Stellar Access Points and AOS Switches from an easy-to-read dashboard display. A free trial version is offered that extends for 90 days and can be used to manage up to 20 devices (additional time and number of devices can be requested).
This release of OmniVista Terra provides a licensed-based solution that enables a Network Administrator to set up a Management Portal for their Organization. Once an Organization is created, the Network Administrator invites users to access the Organization’s Management Portal. These are known as Organization Users.
When an OmniVista Terra account is created, a default Organization Management Portal is created. The Network Administrator can then create different physical sites under that Organization. Or, create additional Organization Management Portals. For example, in a university system the Administrator could set up an Organization for each campus (e.g., Northridge, Channel Islands) and invite users to access each Organization.

OmniVista Terra 10.5.1 can be installed as a fresh installation from a downloaded file available on the Customer Support website. OmniVista Terra is distributed and installed only as a VMware Appliance. There are no other standalone installers (e.g., Windows/Linux). The “Prerequisites” section in this guide defines the system and hypervisors to use for OmniVista Terra deployment.
