The CLI Based Provisioning Settings screen allows you to configure the onboarding process for a switch that has no Initial Configuration (no Provisioning Template, no Management User Template).

There are switch configuration steps that must be completed to enable provisioning on a switch. See Onboarding Devices for OmniVista Cirrus Management for more information, such as switch setup, configuration workflow, and troubleshooting.

• Onboard and manage the device anyway - Select this option if you want to onboard a Switch that was added to the Device Catalog with no Initial Configuration. The Switch will onboard and provision successfully with no Initial Configuration.

• Do not onboard and manage the device - Select this option if you do not want to onboard a Switch that has no Initial Configuration. Provisioning will fail, but the Switch will continue to attempt onboarding until an Initial Configuration is defined for the Switch.

Select one of the settings, then click Apply. The changes take effect immediately.
