Monitoring Network Device Activity

OmniVista Cirrus provides the following applications and tools under the “Monitor” section of the OmniVista Cirrus Menu to help you monitor network components and device activity:

• Analytics - Analyze network and client metrics.

• Network - Review client access records, manage network topology, and generate reports on network utilization.

• Client Density - The Client Density displays information about the number of clients and system throughput on the network.

• Locator- The Locator feature in OmniVista provides a centralized and intuitive way for network administrators to find, identify, and track user devices and clients across the network.

• Diagnostic Tools - Analyze network events, connect to devices, collect log file information from network devices, and remotely trigger packet captures from Access Points.
