Channel Utilization Metrics

The Channel Utilization section of the Network Analytics Dashboard includes widgets for 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz frequency bands that show an average percentage of channel usage within each band. Use this information combined with Channel Distribution metrics to check that there is a fair distribution of wireless and wired communications among all of the channels.

To get more detailed information for each channel within the frequency band, click on Click here to see details per channel at the bottom of the widget.

You can click on a “Friendly Name” from Device List table to view the historic trend of Channel Utilization on a device as shown below.

Then you will be directed to the below screen to view the history trend of Channel Utilization.
