User Interface

The KPI Dashboard is initially presented to you at login. The Fleet Supervision Menu on the left-hand side provides links to all of the Fleet Supervision applications used to configure and monitor your network. From this menu you can declare the managed and unmanaged devices to update the Fleet Supervision Inventory, monitor the device status, and various performance metrics.

This section provides an overview of the Fleet Supervision User Interface including common tools used for working with tables and graphical displays, as well as the Fleet Supervision Menu.

The basic functions that can be performed from the Fleet Supervision UI are described below.

UI Functions

The Dashboard provides the following information and functions:

  • KPI Dashboard - The charts at the top of the dashboard display the Hardware Lifecycle, Hardware Support status, Software Support status, and Maintenance and Support Contract information of various Network Devices which are managed by the OmniVista 2500 NMS instance. See the KPI Dashboard online help for more information.

  • Fleet Supervision Menu - Provides links to all of the Fleet Supervision applications used to configure and monitor the Network Device performance, as well as manage the Network Devices.

  • Privacy - ALE Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

  • Give Your Feedback - Provide feedback about Fleet Supervision.

  • Privacy - ALE Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

  • Free and Open Source Software - Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) used in Fleet Supervision.
