Getting Started
Use the information provided in the following sections to get started with Fleet Supervision.
Network Prerequisites - There are certain prerequisites that you must verify/configure on your local network before getting started.
Create a New Fleet Supervision Account - Learn how to create an account to start managing your network assets.
Configure Your User Profile - By default, your User Profile is created from the information you entered when you created your Fleet Supervision Account (e.g., Name, Company Name, Password).. However, you can edit the profile information at any time.
User Interface - Familiarize yourself with the Fleet Supervision screens and menus.
Declare OmniVista 2500 NMS Managed Devices - Use the Maintenance System screen to add managed devices from one or more OmniVista 2500 NMS installations to your fleet inventory.
Declare Unmanaged Devices - Use the Device Catalog Device Catalog screen to import devices not managed by an OmniVista instance to your fleet inventory.
Once you have your account set up and have populated your fleet inventory, you can start to monitor device information and statistics from the KPI Dashboard.
