Personal Identifiable Information Requests

Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is a legal term pertaining to information security environments. it is the information that can be used by organizations on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.

Organizations use the concept of PII to understand which data they store, process and manage that identifies people and may carry additional responsibility, security requirements, and in some cases legal or compliance requirements.

Click on Settings > Pii Requests under the “Organization” section of the OmniVista Cirrus Menu to go to the Personal identifiable information requests screen.

Here, you can delete an organization's personal identifiable information requests (PII data), either for yourself, or in response to requests from users in your network. You can view the history of requests to get or delete Personal identifiable information.

The deleted PII data is not allowed to re-enter into the network database but is stored in a blocked list that can only be undone by user.
