How to Find the OmniVista Identifiers and Keys

OmniVista periodically gathers detailed inventory information for all discovered devices on your network (for example, device name, MAC address, AOS version), then uploads the information to the Call Home Backend. Fleet Supervision interacts with the Call Home Backend (hosted on us.fluentnetworking.com) to gather information for devices managed by the specified OmniVista NMS instance.

OmniVista 2500

The OmniVista 2500 NMS instance that Fleet Supervision will access is identified by the OmniVista ID (OV ID) assigned to that instance. You then specify the OV ID when creating a Fleet Supervision Management System.

To locate and copy the OV ID for your OmniVista 2500 NMS, go to the ProActive Lifecycle Management screen (Administration > Preferences > System Settings).

OmniVista Cirrus 10

To locate and copy the Application ID and Application Secret for OmniVista Cirrus 10, go to the Applications section and either create a new application or edit an existing application. If creating a new application it’s recommended to use either 'Admin application' or 'Web application' for the target. See Create an Application for details.

To locate the Organization ID, choose an organization from the MSP Portal OmniVista Cirrus 10 and copy the Organization ID from the URL.
