The Application Concept

Before making your first API call, you will need to register an Application.

An Application can be created from the OmniVista Cirrus web page once the user is logged in. An authenticated user can create many applications.

If you want to create a mobile application and a chatbot, we recommend creating two separate applications to uniquely identify each application.

Every registered Application is assigned a unique App ID and App Secret. The App Secret should not be shared! That includes checking the string into your repository.
