Getting Started
OmniVista Network Advisor is a powerful application designed to monitor your network effectively. It identifies anomalies by analyzing device logs and promptly notifies system administrators and other authorized personnel through Rainbow. Some notifications serve as alerts, indicating that a potentially serious issue has arisen. Others not only inform users of an event but also provide actionable steps to remediate the situation immediately.
The application features two primary user interface components: the Rainbow Bubble, where events are displayed, and a Web Application that allows users to configure OmniVista Network Advisor. Through the Web Application, users can easily access past notifications, manage user permissions, create custom anomaly detection rules, and perform various configurations.
When an issue arises, the application initiates a series of context-sensitive actions to efficiently notify network administrators. It assists them in addressing the problem by collecting relevant logs and offering remediation suggestions while the root cause is investigated.
