How to Find the OmniVista ID
OmniVista periodically gathers detailed inventory information for all discovered devices on your network (for example, device name, MAC address, AOS version), then uploads the information to the Call Home Backend. Fleet Supervision interacts with the Call Home Backend (hosted on us.fluentnetworking.com) to gather information for devices managed by the specified OmniVista 2500 NMS instance.
The OmniVista 2500 NMS instance that Fleet Supervision will access is identified by the OmniVista ID (OV ID) assigned to that instance. You then specify the OV ID when creating a Fleet Supervision Management System.
To locate and copy the OV ID for your OmniVista 2500 NMS, go to the ProActive Lifecycle Management screen (Administration > Preferences > System Settings).
