Hardware Lifecycle

The Hardware Lifecycle chart provides a “lifecycle” overview of all network devices (Virtual Chassis primary switches, standalone switches, and wireless equipment) that are managed by OmniVista 2500 NMS according selected filters. (Modules are not counted.)

The following states are displayed:

  • General Availability - The number of devices that are commercially available from ALE.

  • End Of Sales - The number of devices that are no longer commercially available from ALE, but are still eligible for support.

  • End Of Support - The number of devices that are no longer commercially available from ALE and no longer eligible for support. The device has passed the End-of-Life date and is no longer supported.
