Access Points Uptime/Downtime Metrics
The Access Point Uptime section of the Network Analytics Dashboard provides information to help monitor and evaluate Access Point uptime and downtime. The Access Point Uptime widget displays the percentage of average uptime for all Access Points within the defined scope (organization, site, building, set of Access Points) and time interval.

The Access Point Uptime widget
Below the Access Point Uptime widget is the “Percentage of uptime per Access Point” screen that provides the average percentage of uptime and downtime for each Access Point. This information can help identify Access Points that are experiencing the most downtime.

The field value provides the following information:
Friendly Name - The IP address or Access Point name of the device.
Access Point Name - The name assigned to the Access Point.
MAC Address - The Access Point MAC address.
UP TIME - The Uptime of the Access Point.
DOWN TIME - The Down time of the Access Point.
Valid Until - The time of the last event received from the Access Point we used to calculate the Uptime or downtime.
To access more details for a specific Access Point, click on the icon under the “Actions” column. The “Event log of the Selected Access Point” screen displays and contains a log entry for each up, down, and up to transition event for the selected Access Point.
Note that the event log information is gathered based on the specified time interval. For example, if the time interval is set for 24 hours, the log events that occurred within that 24-hour period for the selected Access Point are displayed. As a result, the number of log entries will be different for different time intervals.
