OmniVista Cirrus 10.1 interacts with OmniVista 2500 NMS 4.6R1 to provide WiFi analytics based on events sent from Stellar APs. Through the OmniVista 2500 NMS or the AP Web interface, APs are configured to send events to OmniVista Cirrus 10.1 where the data is gathered and can be analyzed by an Organization user.
If an AP is added that is not configured to send events to OmniVista Cirrus 10.1, analytics for that AP are not gathered and processed by OmniVista Cirrus 10.1. Refer to the Prerequisites section for how to setup an AP to send events and the minimum OmniVista software requirements.
The Organization Dashboard is where AP devices are declared for managing and monitoring by OmniVista Cirrus 10.1 . Click on the Network-Wide option under the Configure section of the OmniVista Cirrus Menu. The menu expands to display the Inventory option. Click on Inventory to expand the menu again. Two items are available under the Inventory menu: Device Catalog and Device Location.
