The Access Point Health section of the Network Analytics Dashboard provides the following information to help monitor and evaluate Access Point health:

  • The number of Access Points with CPU usage that exceeds the threshold value.

  • The number of Access Points with memory usage that exceeds the threshold value.

  • The number of Access Points with flash usage exceeds the threshold value.

  • A historical trend of CPU, memory, and flash usage per Access Point.

Use the Access Point Health metrics to watch for sustained usage that is close to the threshold values and identify peak usage rates.

To change the usage threshold values for CPU, memory, or flash, click on the Configure Thresholds button on the Access Points Health section. This opens the “Configure Thresholds for site” modal window from which you can configure the following threshold values:

CPU threshold for the Access Point: Defaults to 50% usage.

Memory threshold for the Access Point: Defaults to 50% usage.

Flash threshold for the Access Point: Defaults to 50% usage.

After changing any of the threshold values, click the Apply button. To restore thresholds to their default values, click the Restore Defaults button.
